Did anyone get tickets to this? I lacked the will to get up that morning so no Pixies for me, they sold out like lightning.

My girlfriend offered to buy me a ticket, I didn't know when they went on sale and I don't think she even knows they've sold out already. She will be sad

I can live with it though, I saw them twice when I was more of a fan than I am now, although a smaller venue would have been really cool.

Is the 3rd day sold out??? Have to wait til tue to get tickets if they are still around.

I only found out couple weeks ago they were playing. Jeeze. One of my all time fav bands. Saw them once. Got right up the front and all. Deadly gig.

Still vaguely annoyed that I went to the first night and they only did b-sides for an encore when, by the third night, the encore was a bloody greatest hits set unto itself.

I wouldn't say too obscure, but when you're standing ten feet from the Pixies and you know in retrospect that they played Surfer Rosa stuff to everyone else on the tour except you...

That's a fair point, but everybody else in Europe only got 3/4 songs more than the Olympia crowd, max. Plus, you only missed out on "Where is my Mind" by going on the first night rather than the third.. the set was exactly the same, other than that!

It's a bit annoying that the Olympia show was stripped of all the mutimedia stuff, too, but I can't complain; I got to meet them, as Helena probably mentioned! *Emits rays of smug arseholeness*
